Public engagement during the NAHSP and the AEIS was encouraged. A Project Advisory Committee (PAC) was established to provide guidance to NDOT during the NAHSP and AEIS. The members included a wide range of participants from the largest airport system (Clark County Department of Airports), to smaller airports, emergency service providers, economic development specialists, tribal representatives, and many others with an interest or stake in aviation. Four meetings were held throughout the studies to discuss system goals and performance measures; identify aviation issues and trends; validate the approach used to calculate economic impacts; establish airport classifications; determine future performance targets; and finalize system and policy recommendations.
